As our Congressman, Chris Wakim will work with health care professionals and senior citizen groups to make sure the government treats West Virginia’s seniors like patients and not just “claimants”. He believes that Medicare’s Prescription Drug Benefit helps maintain our commitment to our nation’s senior citizens. This program is saving seniors money on the prescription drugs they need.

At the same time, Chris Wakim remains committed to ensuring seniors receive every penny of the Social Security benefits they have earned over a lifetime of hard work. He will not raise the retirement age or cut benefits for current retirees or people nearing retirement.
